• The Vivaldi Upsampler now functions as an MQA decoder via its network input.
• The Vivaldi Upsampler will pass decoded MQA streams (from external MQA decoder) untouched.

Vivaldi Upsampler Plus – Major Upgrade v2.00

Network and USB interfaces plus the Dual AES output support DSD/128 (DSDx2).
Extra conversions added: 32 – DSDx2 > DSDx2,  176.4 – 352.8 > DSDx2. There are 6 filters for the 44.1 > DSDx2 conversion, 1 filter for the other new conversions.
New Network Board & Vivaldi 2.0 control app – Tidal & Spotify integration added.
iPod input deleted, mobile devices play via AirPlay instead.
USB2 input is now accessed as part of the Network interface, not as a separate input.
Better RS232 system integration.
EasyPlay support added.
Software updating from the internet, controlled by the 2.0 app or the web client.

Vivaldi Upsampler – Software Update v1.10

Configuration menu added, with Settings Lock, Save & Restore Configuration.
DXD Lock and DSD Pass-through features added to the Settings menu.
Inputs that are not connected and active cannot be selected.
The USB1 input accepts 24-bit data at 352.8 and 384kS/s.
New conversions added: 352.8kS/s > DSD, DSD > 176.4 / 192 / 352.8 / 384kS/s.
Support for the EasyPlay feature added to all outputs.
Support for the Vivaldi DAC’s Universal Master Mode added.
The Upsampler mutes the outputs when the Non-Audio flag is set in the incoming data.
RS232 Binary commands added for Sleep, Wake, Power Down, Set Sync Mode, report Input Sample Rates 176.4, 192, 352.8, 384kS/s & DSD.
Improved IR remote control of USB2 browser & generally improved browser operation.
Improve responsiveness of front panel controls when playing back from iPod.
Factory Reset turns the Display On.
USB2, iPod & Network inputs can be renamed.
Provision for renaming the inputs via the App added.
